Adam and I have plans to go look at more sites this weekend to have our wedding. I researched numerous places online today. The problem with looking at so many different websites is that places start to look the same after awhile. Another hard-to-swallow realization is that we probably cannot afford very many locations in San Diego. Lots of places are just too expensive or like what Ian pointed out while he was helping me with my wedding planning today is that a lot of sites can't fit the number of people we're inviting to our wedding. I got a little tired of looking at websites today and just wished we could just pick one already. :)
I have a list of possible places that I want to share with Adam before we head out. However, I am a little discouraged that some of these places are quite far from the SD airport. Most of our guests will be coming from out of town and I think asking them to fly in to SD only to drive another 40 minutes inland might be too much to ask of our guests. I guess we'll see if we decide to visit those locations. I found one in that's east of Poway (but seems REALLY east of Poway) and another in Carlsbad, but we'll see.
I'm becoming quite anxious to find a place and set a date. I hear places book up to a year in advance and if we're planning a wedding this time next year, then time's just ticking away. I don't want to pick a place that we'll later regret, but I think our budget will limit the number of possibilities we have in choosing a location.
It's my prayer that God will make it clear to us where our wedding will be.
